DescriptionLe vehicule est equipe d'un systeme de securite a controle electronique qui, en cas de choc frontal severe, actionne les pretensionneurs des ceintures de securite AV et les airbags de protection cote conducteur et cote passager.Par contre, en cas de choc lateral relativement grave, ce sont l'airbag lateral (Side Bag) et le Head Bag correspondant (uniquement du cote du choc) qui sont actionnes.Une centrale electronique gere tout le dispositif en controlant tous les composants et en activant, au besoin, les systemes de retenue (pretensionneurs et airbags).La centrale est situee sous la console centrale du vehicule et fixee solidement a la caisse: ainsi, les capteurs de deceleration qu'elle abrite se trouvent a proximite du centre de gravite et mesurent avec precision les decelerations de l'ensemble du vehicule .Sur le montant des deux portes AV se situe un capteur d'acceleration qui, en cas de chocs lateraux, transmet un signal a la centrale. Ce signal est aussi dument traite par la centrale qui declenche l'Airbag lateral et le Head Bag du cote ou le choc s'est produit.Le module airbag cote conducteur est place au centre du volant; il est monte sur une platine basculante qui permet ainsi la commande des avertisseurs sonores. La platine abrite un boitier metallique contenant le coussin replie et le dispositif generateur de gaz qui gonfle le coussin.Un dispositif a 'contact spirale' permet aux cables de connexion du module airbag de suivre la rotation du volant sans danger de ruptures.Le module airbag cote passager se trouve sur le tableau de bord, au-dessus de la boite a gants;il est fixe directement sur la traverse du vehicule au moyen d'un etrier approprie.L'airbag cote passager peut etre desactive manuellement au moyen d'un interrupteur - que l'on actionne avec la cle du vehicule - situe a l'extremite du tableau de bord, cote passager; on ne pourra y acceder qu'une fois la porte ouverte. Cle sur OFF, la centrale commande egalement l'eclairage du temoin 'desactivation de l'airbag cote passager'.Le Side Bag est loge dans la partie exterieure du siege AV. Le capteur correspondant est situe sur le montant central.Le Head Bag se compose d'un coussin qui se gonfle pour venir s'interposer entre la tete des passagers et les glaces laterales. Le coussin replie du Head Bag est situe sous le revetement du pavillon tandis que le montant AR abrite le generateur de gaz. Le Head Bag constitue une protection supplementaire pour les passagers des places AV, car il protege leur tete, en plus de la zone thoracique - fonction deja remplie par le Side Bag.Il offre egalment une premiere protection aux passagers des places AR.Le pretensionneur est un dispositif integre dans l'enrouleur des ceintures de securite AV. La centrale est dotee d'un systeme d'auto-diagnosticelle detecte et memorise les eventuelles anomalies;elle identifie les divers composants et le type d'anomalieelle signale l'apparition de ces anomalies au moyen d'un temoin specifique.Les activations du systeme, suite a un choc d'une certaine violence, sont aussi memorisees par la centrale.La ligne d'alimentation de la centrale du dispositif est protegee par un fusible situe dans la centrale sous le tableau de bord.768
Description fonctionnelle La centrale de controle du systeme airbag M60 est alimentee 'sous cle' (INT) - broche 7 du connecteur A - via la ligne protegee par le fusible F50 de la centrale sous le tableau de bord B2 . La broche 6 est reliee a la masse specifique C50 . En fonction de la logique de controle, lorsqu'un choc frontal severe est detecte, la centrale transmet les signaux de commande pour l'intervention des modules :a l'airbag cote conducteur Q9 , via le cable spirale sur le volant D47 (depuis les broches 13 et 14 du connecteur A de M60 ) ;a l'airbag cote passager Q11 (depuis les broches 15 et 16 du connecteur A de M60 ) ;aux pretensionneurs cote conducteur Q20 (depuis les broches 13 et 14 du connecteur B de M60 ) et cote passager Q21 (depuis les broches15 et 16 du connecteur B de M60 ). Le signal de l'interrupteur de desactivation airbag passager H57 arrive a la broche 11 du connecteur A de M60 . Les capteurs de detection de choc lateral K66 (cote conducteur) et K67 (cote passager) envoient leurs signaux respectivement aux broches 1, 2 et 3, 4 de la centrale M60 . En fonction de la logique de controle, lorsqu'un choc lateral severe est detecte, la centrale transmet les signaux de commande pour l'intervention des modules :a l'airbag lateral cote conducteur Q30 (depuis les broches 17 et 18 du connecteur B de M60 ) ;a l'airbag lateral cote passager Q31 (depuis les broches 19 et 20 du connecteur B de M60 ) ;au Head Bag cote conducteur Q40 (depuis les broches 21 et 22 du connecteur B de M60 ) ;au Head Bag cote passager Q41 (depuis les broches 23 et 24 du connecteur B de M60 ). La structure du siege abritant les deux airbags lateraux est reliee a la masse C50 . Lorsque l'auto-diagnostic du dispositif detecte une anomalie ou qu'un choc a ete enregistre, la centrale M60 envoie, depuis la broche 17 du connecteur A, un signal pour le temoin 'anomalie airbag', situe au combine de bord E50 .; la broche 12 du connecteur A de M60 transmet un signal pour le temoin 'exclusion Air Bag cote passager'. La lecture des donnees de l'auto-diagnostic peut etre effectuee par branchement au connecteur G du boitier electronique M1 - broche 3 : c'est a cette broche qu'arrivent, via la ligne de diagnostic prevue a cet effet, les signaux provenant de la broche 9 du connecteur A de la centrale M60 .

Suivre les consignesci-apres.769Avec les batteries equipees de l'hydrometreoptique on peut surveiller, tout du moins qualitativement, le niveaud'electrolyte et le niveau de charge de la batterie en observantla couleur du temoin: une couleur claire et brillante indiqueun niveau trop bas: faire l'appoint avec de l'eau distillee;une couleur foncee, sans partie verteau centre, indique un niveau correct mais un faible niveau de charge:proceder a la charge de la batterie; une couleur foncee avec une partie verteau centre indique un niveau d'electrolyte et de charge correct:ne proceder a aucune intervention. 'MICRO 360').
