Jaguar XJS 1995 - IDENTIFICATION FUSE PANEL & COMPONENT LOCATIONS

The electrical systems are protected from short circuits by fuses that are designed to fail to prevent damage to the wire harness. There are 3 different fuse boxes protecting 3 different groups of circuits. The left and right fuse panels are located at the bottom of the left and right front kick panels respectively. An additional fuse panel is located inside the engine compartment.

NOTE: A list of the protected circuits and fuse ratings is given on the back of each fuse box cover. In addition to these, there are in-line fuses protecting various other circuits in vehicle.

WARNING: Always disconnect battery ground cable before servicing "high-current fuses. It is recommended that "high-current" fuses be replaced by a qualified technician.
