Jaguar XK8 2004 - IDENTIFICATION ENGINE COMPARTMENT FUSE/RELAY LOCATIONS

Engine compartment fuse and relay boxes are located in the left front and left and right bulkhead enclosures of the engine compartment. See Fig. 1 .

To remove the engine compartment fuse box lid, press the retaining tabs while lifting. See Fig. 2 . When reinstalling the engine compartment fuse box lid, reposition the lid and press in the area of the retaining tabs, ensuring that the retaining tabs fully engage. Jaguar XK8 2004 - Engine Management Fuse Box

To remove the engine management fuse box lid, compress and lift the "U" shaped latching mechanism. See Fig. 4 . When reinstalling engine management fuse box lid, position the tabs opposite the latching mechanism into the appropriate slots and push down on the lid, ensuring that the latching mechanism is fully engaged. Jaguar XK8 2004 - PASSENGER COMPARTMENT FUSE/RELAY LOCATIONS

Passenger compartment fuse and relay boxes are located on the left and right sides of the instrument panel. Additional relays are located on the driveshaft tunnel. See Fig. 6 .

To remove the left or right passenger compartment fuse box cover, pull the raised lip of the cover. See Fig. 7 . For left passenger compartment fuse box fuse identification, see Fig. 8 . For right heelboard relay and fuse box fuse identification, see Fig. 9 .

Jaguar XK8 2004 - LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FUSE/RELAY BOX

Luggage compartment relay and fuse box is located to the right of the spare tire. Additional relays are located in front of the luggage compartment fuse box. See Fig. 10 .

To remove the luggage compartment fuse box lid, pull outward on the retaining clip and upwards on the lid. See Fig. 11 . When reinstalling luggage compartment fuse box lid, reposition the lid and press in the area of the retaining tabs, ensuring that the retaining tabs fully engage. For trunk fuse box fuse identification, see Fig. 12 .
