DESCRIPTION - DOOR MIRROR ADJUSTMENT - Alfa Romeo 159 2.4 JTD 20V Fino a 12/05
The door mirrors can be electrically adjusted in two directions using a joystick control located in the door controls on the driver''s side: a selection cursor makes it possible to choose either the left or the right mirror. The button controls two electrical motors located in each of the two mirrors: one motor allows the rotation of the mirror on the horizontal axis, another on the vertical axis.The circuit is protected by a fuse in the junction unit under the dashboard and is operated by the door control unit in accordance with the control logic transmitted by the Body Computer via the CAN.

Control unit M66 is supplied at pin 11 of connector D - by a line protected by fuse F36 of the junction unit under the dashboard B2 .The controls on the driver''s door H44 include the joystick and control switch for the exterior rear view mirrors:- selection of the right/left mirror: signal to pin 30 of connector A of M66,- vertical movement: signal to pin 28 of connector A of M66,- horizontal movement: signal to pin 29 of connector A of M66.On the basis of the commands received, the control unit M66 controls the motor for the mirrors P60 from pin 4 of connector E (joint) and for pins 3 and 5 (horizontal and vertical movement respectively).Similarly, the same commands are sent to the passenger side mirror P61 from pins 10, 26 and 27 of connector B of M66.
