The vehicle is equipped with a climate control system for managing the temperature, air flow rate, distribution and recirculation.The control unit manages the operation of the system by controlling:air temperature at the vents;air distribution at the vents;fan speed (continuous variation);compressor engagement (air refrigeration circuit);air recirculation engagement.The system controls are located on the outside of the container which houses the control unit: the following parameters/functions can be controlled manually:fan speed;distribution arrangement;compressor enablement;defrosting/demisting;recirculation.

The climate control system control unit M070 (pins 12 and 10 connector A) receives a power supply via two lines both coming out of the Body computer node M001 (pin 1 connector G and pin 6 connector D respectively) of which only one (the latter) is protected by fuse F14.Control unit M070 communicates via the CAN (pin 14 and 15 connector A) with the instrument panel E050 (pins 6 and 12) and with the Body computer node M001 (pins 8 and 10 connector D).The Body computer node M001 (pin 5 connector E) produces the enablement signal to be sent to the relay J035 (pin 1). The latter takes (pin 3) a power supply from a line protected by fuse MF01 located in the engine compartment junction unit B001 (pin 1 connector D) and, in turn, supplies (pin 5) the fan control H081 (pin B connector A).The fan control H081 (pin 1 connector B) is controlled by the climate control system control unit M070 (pin 2 connector B) and, in turn, controls (pin 1 connectors C and D) the passenger compartment air fan N085 (pin 1 connectors A and B respectively). There is a control unit inside H081 that controls the speed of the fan in relation to the command given by the special selector.The climate control system control unit M070 (pins 4, 5, 6 connector B respectively) provides a power supply (pin 1) for the air distribution motor N080, air mixer motor N081 and recirculation/outside air intake motor N082.Pins 3, 4, 5 and 6 of the three motors are joint and are connected respectively to the pins of the same numbers of connector C of the climate control system control unit M070.Lastly, control unit M070 is connected (pins 16 1, 2, 3, 18, 10 connector A) to the instrument panel E050 (pins 7, 5, 9, 2, 10, 13 respectively) to communicate various information to the different displays (heated rear windscreen on, air conditioning on, etc.).
