The vehicle's electrical systems are protected by an assortment of fuses and relays. Protective fuses should only be replaced by fuses of correct rating.

Fuse box (F34) located in the left interior of the cockpit. See Fig. 1 . The front prefuse box (F32) is located in the right rear of engine compartment. See Fig. 2 . Signal Register And Selection Module (SAM) modules with fuses and relays are located as follows: Mercedes-Benz CLK500 2003 - Component Locations -

• Left rear of engine compartment - Front SAM control module with fuse and relay module (N10/1). See Fig. 3 .
• Trunk left - Rear SAM control module with fuse and relay module (N10/2). See Fig. 4 .
