ELECTRICAL 2001 - Chrysler - Convertible

Chrysler Sebring Limited 2001 - DESCRIPTION

CAUTION: When replacing a blown fuse, it is important to use only a fuse having the correct amperage rating. The use of a fuse with a rating other than indicated may result in a dangerous electrical system overload. If a properly rated fuse continues to blow, it indicates a problem in the circuit that must be corrected.

To prevent damage to the electrical system due to short circulating or overloading, each individual circuit is provided with a fuse. There are fuse blocks in the passenger compartment and in the engine compartment.

Chrysler Sebring Limited 2001 - FUSE JUNCTION BLOCK

CAUTION: When replacing a blown fuse, it is important to use only a fuse having the correct amperage rating. The use of a fuse with a rating other than indicated may result in a dangerous electrical system overload. If a properly rated fuse continues to blow, it indicates a problem in the circuit that must be corrected.

The Fuse Junction Block in the passenger compartment is located on the driver's side of instrument panel, behind endcap access hatch. See Fig. 1 & Fig. 2 .

Chrysler Sebring Limited 2001 - POWER DISTRIBUTION CENTER

CAUTION: When replacing a blown fuse, it is important to use only a fuse having the correct amperage rating. The use of a fuse with a rating other than indicated may result in a dangerous electrical system overload. If a properly rated fuse continues to blow, it indicates a problem in the circuit that must be corrected.

NOTE: Fusible links will melt to prevent a fire in the event that a large current flows through a system protected by a fusible link. In case of a melted fusible link, inspect wiring before replacement.

The Power Distribution Center is located in the engine compartment on the left front inner fender. See Fig. 3 through Fig. 9 .
