When the boot is opened the light in the luggage compartment comes on; it goes out when the boot is closed.The light inside the glove compartment comes on when it is opened and goes out when it is closed.The lights located beneath each of the sun blinds are turned on by a switch on the lights.The Body Computer continuously acquires the battery voltage signal to compare it with a limit figure (SBMT function): if the battery voltage measured is below the level, it intervenes via the CAN sending a signal to disable a series of loads: these include the glove compartment light, the boot light and the sun visor lights; the function is activated after the key-off (TEG extracted).

On the basis of the battery voltage control logic (SBMT) described previously, the Body Computer M1 supplies the boot light G40 from pin 23 of connector E and the driver''s sun visor light G31 and the passenger sun visor light G32 from pin 33 of connector E; the glove compartment light G30 is supplied in a similar manner from pin 16 of connector H.The boot opening switch is located in the lock N47, it sends an earth signal when the boot is open to light up the relevant courtesy light G40; the same signal is sent to the Body Computer M1 - pin 36 of connector E "boot open" signal; the same signal is used by the alarm system, when fitted.the glove compartment light G30 is switched on automatcially - when the switch I30 closes - as the compartment is opened.The lights in the visors G31 and G32 are switched on by an earth signal sent from the switch on the lights themselves.
