There are two lights for lighting up the ground ("puddle lights") in the front front doors.The driver''s front door control unit detects the door status, notifies the Body Computer and controls the switching on of the light in the two doors.The opening of one of the front doors causes the two lights to come on for a maximum of 3 minutes; when this time has expired the light can only be switched back on again after the door has been reopened.The closing of the driver''s door causes the two lights to go out immediately.

The Body Computer M1 receives door open input signals at pin 8 of connector D (driver''s front door) and 25 of connector E (passenger side door).The puddle lights G51 and G52 are operated by the driver''s door control lunit M66.The control unit M66 receives a power supply - at pin 11 of connector D - from the line protected by fuse F36 of the junction unit under the dashboard B2; on the basis of the logic described previously, the control unit M66 supplies the relevant puddle light G51, from pins 17 and 18 of connector B and the passenger puddle light G52 from pin 21 of connector B.
