The door mirrors can be electrically adjusted in two directions using a joystick located in the door controls on the driver''s side.Both mirrors are adjusted using the joystick which moves in four directions: firstly the mirror to be adjusted (left or right) is selected, then the mirror selected is adjusted.Moving the joystick backwards (by around 120°) folds the mirrors, moving it forwards, returns them to the open position.The joystick controls three electrical motors located in each of the two mirrors: one motor allows the rotation of the mirror on the horizontal axis, another on the vertical axis and the third controls the folding.The door mirrors are controlled by the door control units in accordance with the control logic transmitted by the body computer via the CAN.The mirrors can only be adjusted with the key in position M.The interior rear view mirror is the electrochrome type: i.e. it contains an electronic device which controls the automatic anti-glare function.The automatic mode is produced by pressing the button on the actual mirror; an LED signals that it is on.In order to ensure optimum visibility during manoeuvres, the interior mirror switches to automatic mode each time reverse gear is engaged.On versions with seats with a memory, in addition to moving the door mirrors manually, it is possible to memorize 4 positions:This complex logic is managed by the control unit for the seats/mirrors with a memory which converses with the Body Computer via the CAN [EL3076].two linked to the remote controls for opening/closing the doors: when the doors are locked using the remote control, the position of the seat and the door mirrors is acquired by the remote control. When the doors are unlocked using the remote control, the seat and the door mirrors resume the position memorized previously;two linked to the memory buttons located on the driver''s seat;

Operational Description - DOOR MIRROR ADJUSTMENT - Fiat ULYSSE 2.0 16v da 04/03

The door nodes M066 and M067 are supplied by the body computer node at pin 16 connector from the line protected by fuse F09.The door nodes M066 and M067 receive a supply via the CAN (pin 1 connector A) from the line protected by fuse F04 of the body computer M001.The body computer node M001 also communicates with the door nodes M066 and M067 via the CAN, namely from pins 21, 23 and 24, 26, connector L to pins 14, 3 connector A of the driver''s door node M066 and the passenger door node M067.The two door nodes M066 and M067 operate the electric motors for the door mirrors P060 and P061 directly.The command for the movement is given by unit H051 where the three specific switches are located: one for selecting the (left or right) door mirror, one for adjusting the mirror and one for folding the mirror.The door node M066 supplies the switch unit H051 from pin 15 connector A; the selection of the door mirror is signalled to pin 10 connector A of M066; the adjustment is managed by the signal sent to pin 6 connector A of M066;The door node M066 communicates with the passenger door node M067 via the CAN to operate the right mirror.The door nodes M066 and M067 control the electric motors for moving the respective door mirrors P060 and P061 from connector B, whilst they control the electric motors for folding the mirrors from connector C pins 2 and 3 and receive feedback signals of the effective position of the actual mirrors - pins 1, 4, 5 and 6.The interior rear view mirror P065 switches to the automatic mode each time reverse gear is engaged. When reverse gear is engaged the reversing switch I020 supplies the mirror P065 through the line protected by fuse F01 located in the engine compartment junction unit B001.The mirror P065 can also be activated manually by pressing the switch housed inside the actual mirror. In this case the supply is provided by the body computer node M001 (pin 12 connector H), by the line protected by fuse F07 housed in the actual control unit.On versions with seats with a memory, the movement of the mirrors in any of the 4 positions memorized is produced using the information transmitted via the CAN by the seats/mirrors with memory control unit M076.
