Functional description The Cruise Control function is controlledby engine management unit M10 upon a command from the CruiseControl switch H7 located to the left of the steering wheel. The switch H7 is supplied when theignition is switched on (INT) from the line protected by the fuse F1 forthe junction unit B1 . Control H7 is connected to managementunit M10:to pin 77 of connector A, with the ON/OFF signalto pin 38 of connector A, with the RES signalto pin 56 of connector A, with the SET + signalto pin 78 of connector A, with the SET - signal The 'pedal released' signal for the dualswitch I30, on the other hand, is sent to the engine managementcontrol unit M10 - pin 80 of connector A. For the management of the Cruise Controlfunction the control unit also uses the signal at pin 79 of connectorA of M10 coming from the clutch pedal switch I31 and the acceleratorpedal potentiometer K55 SeeE5050 DIESEL ENGINES ELECTRONICMANAGEMENT signals. To turn on the Cruise Control warning light,engine management unit M10 sends a signal - pin 49 of connectorA - to check module E30 which is supplied by a line protected byfuse F4 of the additional fuse box B98B.
