The microphone for the radio telephone hands-free function is incorporated in the front courtesy light, in an excellent position for good reception. The circuit and the ICS display receives a power supply protected by a specific junction unit fuse.Full details of the specifications and the operation of the telephone are given in the 'OWNER'S HANDBOOK'.
Functional description The ICS E60 is supplied directly by the battery at pins 13 and 26 of connector A by the line protected by fuse F18 of the junction unit B2. Pins 19 and 6 of connector A are earthed. Pins 7 and 20 of connector B of E60 receive the microphone P26 signals. The outside telephone receiver P27 is connected to connector B of E60 to pins 7, 8, 9 and 22. ICS display E60 - connector B pins 16 and 18 - controls radio P20 when it receives signals from device H16 (radio controls on the steering wheel) via the clock spring. The steering wheel radio controls H16 are lit up by the ignition-operated line (15/54) for fuse F5 of junction unit B2.
